  21. Forget the serial prefs. Set the baud rate in PPP0.config to 38400,
  22. or 57600.

  24. This is the rate your modem talks to your computer, and has to be
  25. higher than your modem baud rate.

  27. Since you probally know the login sequence for your ISP by now,
  28. you can use the dialscript that comes with PPP. If you decide to
  29. use your terminal program make sure the baud rate matches what you
  30. have PPP set for. This is important.

  32. Try it, I'm sure it will help. (I have mine set at 57600, and it
  33. works great.
